The first documents

Hi to all of you. Unfortunately it's to cold to sail here in Holland so I took the time to scan some of the material which I got last week. While on skype with Timothy Sharman we selected the most interesting materials.

First Document is from 1975 edition of Practical boat owner. It's about the relaunch of the Hurley 22 bij SCM.
Welcome Back H22

The next document is a Dutch advertisement from ‘Triba’ the importer of the Hurley yachts in Holland in 1967
Triba

The next document again from PBO and unfortunately it’s not dated. It’s a review about the silhouette and named ‘Lacks the finishing touch’

Furthermore we have the layout of the H22 seen from the top and made by Mr. Baya Sr. (the person who collected all of the material) This picture is found on several websites so no new things in it.
Welcome Back H22

It’s not to late is an advertisement in PBO, September 1971. The original picture (the girl is probably a grandmother at this time) is in the HOA archives

Another advertisement from PBO with the same girl on the picture, March 1970

Holland Yachting (the importer of the H700 in the Netherlands) had a communication to all hurley owners every year to show them all accessories including pricing. Due to the age of the documents this is still in Dutch Guilder (2,20371 Guilder is one Euro). This particular document is from Jan. 1987

There also were some recalls (in dutch) this one is from 1984 and asked all owners to get their hurley back to Halland Yachting because of a leaking deck (at the mast) causing the deck to rot and very expensive repairs.
Recall 1

The second recall is about the companionway hatch for hurley 700’s build number 1035 and up. It’s a very bad preserved recall but still worth publishing it on the internet.
Recall 2

A leaflet of the selling of the 1000th Hurley 22 to Naomi James. The woman who sailed the hurley across the atlantic.
Pricelist

The east coast hurley day, I believe an existing meeting nowadays had an advertisement in PBO, april 1969 announcing the open day.
Hurley Day

Last, but not least for this blogpost, the first documentation about an Hurley 23… no idea of it’s origin, Tim thought it was from a yearly book describing all recent sailing boats.
